With an auction highlight of €80.000 euro for the 6yr old Cicero daughter Coupe de Coeur. The sale of the Chacco Blue colt Whiskey van 't Gebergte for €32.000 euro. An average price of €17.500 for 28 foals. And a 100% sales score, the BWFA team looks back on a top Sea Coast 2022 edition. Striking detail: all foals fetched at least €10.000 euro.

Atmospheric, cosy, accessible. And a quality catalogue. A few expressions that could be heard throughout the Sea Coast indoor arena in Moerzeke.

Because finally it was allowed again. After two limited corona years BWFA could go full steam ahead for the 2022 edition. One that will go down in the books as not to be forgotten. The Sea Coast Stables of Gudrun Patteet and Alain Cloet opened their doors to more than 400 VIP guests. And also the public showed up en masse. What resulted in a fantastic ambiance. In which the auction items were sold quickly.

In just over three hours, auctioneer Chris de Heer connected the 34 lots to a new owner. With € 80.000 euro Cicero-daughter Coupe de Coeur goes into the books as auction topper. And she finds a new home with a Belgian young lady. Also contemporary Quyana van het Eikehof stays for €40.000 euro within the country. While Let's Go (s. Diarado), with her Grand Prix potential, is sold to an American CSI5* rider for €64.000.

Out of the 28 foals, Whiskey van 't Gebergte, a Chacco Blue out of the Valentina van t Heike line, was the first to go. He will leave for Norway for €32.000.  His contemporary Charisma ter Putte, a Chacoon Blue daughter out of the lineage of Elvis and KWPN performance champion New Pleasure, will go to Canada for €30.000.

There were also great prices for World Class by Hippolux (s. Comme il Faut) and Whitenhaven BS, which come from the 'Klapscheut'. They were sold for respectively €26.000 and €24.000.

They were in turn joined in the double figures by Eros van het Lindenhof and Wu Tang d'O who were sold for €20.000 and are leaving for Ireland and Germany.

"First of all, our thanks go to the breeders and entrants. Who gave their trust once again to the BWFA auction", says chairman Tom van de Vijver. "In addition, an important role is reserved for Alain Cloet and Gudrun Patteet. Who put their Sea Coast Stables completely at our disposal. With which our fantastic team was able to make it an unforgettable edition!
