The horses have arrived in Baborówko – and tomorrow the international Baborówko Jumping Show officially kicks off! This year, over 350 horses from more than a dozen European countries will compete across two arenas, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of sporting celebration throughout the entire weekend.
Riders from Austria, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Greece, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Switzerland, and of course a strong Polish team of 163 riders will take part in the competition. They will compete in four categories: CSI2*, CSI1*, CSIYH1* (for young horses), and CSIV-B (for veterans).
Poland will be represented by top showjumping athletes, including Jarosław Skrzyczyński, Maksymilian Wechta, Krzysztof Ludwiczak, Dawid Kubiak, Daria Kobiernik, and Mściwoj Kiecoń. The arenas will also host renowned international riders, such as:
– Felix Hassmann (Germany) – silver medalist at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses,
– Angelos Touloupis (Greece) – World Cup finalist.
But Baborówko Jumping Show is more than just sport. Organizers have prepared a wide range of additional attractions, including a food court, equestrian shopping stands and a special highlight: the Baborówko Foal Auction, featuring 15 carefully selected foals from outstanding European bloodlines, including offspring of top stallions United Touch S and Ermitage Kalone.
