Both auction highlights made their presence felt in the final. For a top price of €115.000 the five star Grand Prix stallion Jaguar vd Berghoeve moves via HorseSales.Auction to breeding company vd Bisschop. The full sister of Mumbai also attracted great interest. And will be owned by a Dutch breeder. There was also great interest in the more than ten broodmares. Where the 1m45 classified Deviline van t Ruytershof (pic.Diamant de Semilly out of the sister of Emerald) changed hands for €54.000 euro.
The interest seemed great for 'The Next Level' breeding auction. Where especially breeders and investors made their move. Among them breeding farm van den Bisschop. After a tough bidding duel with an Irish stallion owner, they brought Jaguar vd Berghoeve to their breeding farm. There he will be used by Tom and Ines de Craene next season within their own breeding program. And made available as a breeding stallion after a sporting career at Grand Prix level.
The Netherlands also invested heavily. By purchasing the full sister of Mumbai for €75,000. This genetically very interesting embryo is also the half-sister of Willem Greve's upcoming talent Opium JW vd Moerhoeve. Cold Play, the number 8 of the WEG in Tryon sees his full sibling leave for Germany for €25,000. And the implanted embryo of Emerald and the Grand Prix mare Babylotte finds a new home in Belgium for €21,000.
The interest in the broodmares proved particularly great. Whereby the 1m45 classified Deviline van t Ruytershof pulled the cart. This Diamant de Semilly daughter out of the halfsister of Emerald brought in €54.000. After a fierce bidding duel a Croatian breeder drew the longest straw for €46,000 with the 1m45 jumping Quandice de Kerglenn. And Izzy W, a halfsister of Global winner Arrayan, gets a new home with an ambitious Dutch breeder for €42,000.
After four foal auctions the organizers of HorseSales.Auction look back on a very successful breeding edition. In which thanks are expressed to both the buyers and the contributors. "We are very grateful for the mutual trust", let organizers Harold Renken and Chris de Heer record. "We have put a lot of effort into this edition. And tried to make an attractive collection that breeders and investors can make a move with today. The many successful sales show that they have appreciated that."
The season for the HorseSales.Auction will conclude from December 16 - 19 with a collection of jumpers from 2-4 year olds. In which the video day is scheduled for November 27.
