Last night in Geneve, it has been awarding-time for equestrian top quality. The Palexpo arena was the crowded frame for the prize-giving ceremony by Année Hippique that tributed its annual award to the best riders and organizers.
Swiss Olympic Gold individual medal Steve Guerdat (member of IJRC Board) has been awarded best rider of the year for the show jumping while German Michael Jung, who added London’s double gold to an impressive number of trophies, was “the man” for eventing.
The title of “Best show of the year” has been awarded to San Patrignano for its Csi5*, directed by swiss-based Eleonora Ottaviani.
The show, that takes place in Italy, it’s hosted by the Community that, since 1978, has taken in over 18,000 people with serious drug abuse problems.
